A Biblical View of the End Times

Featured June 14 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm A Biblical View of the End Times
Evangelical Free Church of Windsor 700 Pine Drive, CO, United States

A Biblical View of the End Times — Bible Prophecy Series Did you know that one of every five verses in the New Testament is about Jesus Christ's return? Bible Prophecy formed the foundation of the first sermon ever preached to the church (Acts 2:14-41), and Paul dispensed a hefty dose of Bible Prophecy to the infant Thessalonian church in the short time he was with them.  Did you know that Jesus Christ talked extensively about future prophetic matters? A Biblical View of the End Times — is an in-depth Bible prophecy study series led by Steve Schmutzer, a respected Bible prophecy teacher and writer. This is your chance to gain a great foundation in Bible Prophecy, to understand what's happening around us in the world today, and to see where this is all going. Discover why over one-quarter of God’s Word focuses on prophecy, and gain a deeper understanding of what Scripture says about the times we’re living in and what’s to come. Each session includes teaching, lesson notes, and Q&A. 📅 Start Date: Sunday, November 23🕕 Time: 6:00 PM (continues Sunday evenings thereafter)🏢 Venue: Evangelical Free Church of Windsor📍 Address: 700 Pine Drive, Windsor, CO 80550 🌐 More Info: www.solidbreadcommunity.com✉️ […]

    1 & 2 Thessalonians

    Featured June 21 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Jonah: A Man Who Ran
Ridgeview Classical School 1800 S. Lemay Ave., Fort Collins, CO, United States

Join Solid Bread Community for “Faithful Endurance In One Direction" Paul wrote 1 & 2 Thessalonians to a baby church in the city of Thessalonica. They were new believers, vulnerable believers, and they were facing persecution and confusion. But Paul could only be with them for a short time. Given this urgency, he emphasized important fundamentals, and we’re wise to take notice of his priorities. Paul encouraged these new believers to stay faithful despite their many hardships. He taught them the various doctrines of Jesus Christ’s return, and he provided them with practical guidance on sexual purity, daily living, and avoiding idleness. Basically, Paul told this church, “Hang in there! Don’t lose hope. Jesus is coming back, so keep on keeping on. Choose to live a life that’s pleasing to God.” It’s a powerful message we all need today, and it’s an encouragement to us to faithfully endure in one direction. Every Sunday. Refreshments start at 10:30am, Teaching starts at 11am at Ridgeview Classical School in the Gym. Click here for more information.
