Ongoing Volunteer Needs Protect Kids Colorado is a statewide, nonpartisan, grassroots coalition working to safeguard the health, safety, and innocence of children. Through community engagement and legislative action, PKC empowers parents and citizens to protect children from harmful policies and cultural influences. Volunteers are needed to join PKCâs Petition Carrier Team to help gather signatures for three citizen-led ballot initiatives aimed at: Preventing child sex trafficking Banning irreversible gender procedures on minors Protecting girls' sports and single-sex spaces Be a voice for Coloradoâs children. Join Solid Bread Community for âFaithful Endurance In One Direction" Paul wrote 1 & 2 Thessalonians to a baby church in the city of Thessalonica. They were new believers, vulnerable believers, and they were facing persecution and confusion. But Paul could only be with them for a short time. Given this urgency, he emphasized important fundamentals, and weâre wise to take notice of his priorities. Paul encouraged these new believers to stay faithful despite their many hardships. He taught them the various doctrines of Jesus Christâs return, and he provided them with practical guidance on sexual purity, daily living, and avoiding idleness. Basically, Paul told this church, âHang in there! Donât lose hope. Jesus is coming back, so keep on keeping on. Choose to live a life thatâs pleasing to God.â Itâs a powerful message we all need today, and itâs an encouragement to us to faithfully endure in one direction. Every Sunday.
